Lead Event Consultant for DPSCD’s annual Level Up High School Expo- a District-wide recruitment event designed to help rising 9th grade students explore their high school options and successfully transition into secondary education.

Full event planning from concept to completion
Event visioning, theme development, and logistical mapping
Budgeting, vendor and venue coordination, and stakeholder communications
Run-of-show management, site visits, and event production support
Supervision of on-site logistics: setup, breakdown, registration, and vendor management
Pre-event management tools - i.e. event guide, workplan, vendor tracker and community use scope- contingency planning, and post-event reporting
Strategic consultation for client, workstream leads, and other stakeholders
Support for event-day components including school-department-partner table support, performances, on-site enrollment assistance, and student engagement activations
Event Impact
The expo supported the District’s middle to high school transition strategy by guiding families through three phases- Awareness, Experience, and Decision - and provided a comprehensive overview of all DPSCD high school options, including neighborhood, application, and examination high schools, career and technical centers (CTC), exceptional student education (ESE), and alternative education pathways.
