Meet Our Founder & CEO
Sydnie Bland, LLPC
Sydnie Bland is the visionary force behind WELL Woman, an inclusive, holistic support ecosystem built to help women heal, thrive, and lead with agency. A multihyphenate – limited licensed therapist, educator, strategist and more – Sydnie founded WELL Woman to challenge inequities and create restorative spaces where women, especially those from BIPOC communities, can prioritize their well-being without guilt, pressure, or unrealistic expectations. She's built the foundation of WELL Woman in her home community Detroit, but her ultimate goal is to mobilize a global network of women who uplift and support one another.
Rooted in resilience and lived experience, Sydnie’s work centers women’s stories, power, and possibilities. With over 12 years of experience across education, advocacy, and community development, she has designed and led high-impact initiatives for small to large scale organizations throughout metropolitan Detroit. Whether she’s curating development workshops and events, managing outreach campaigns, directing and producing promotional videos, or advocating for wellness and equity in under-resourced communities, her mission remains the same: to help women live fuller, freer, and more intentional lives. In Sydnie’s Own Words
Hey Sis… I see you. I hear you. I value you. I support you. And more importantly, I love you.
These are the words so many of us long to hear — the reassurance that we are supported, accepted, and valued, that we belong. Like you, I have experienced the weight of society’s expectations — what it means to be a woman, and in my case, a Black woman, navigating family dynamics, relationships, and broader communities that often demand more than they pour back into us. I have seen firsthand how women around me — strong, capable, brilliant women — feel burnt out, unfulfilled, unsupported, and unseen as they manage expectations that leave little room for their full humanity. That reality inspired me to build WELL Woman — a space where women receive the care, connection and community they deserve to dream bigger, pursue their passions and create more harmonious, fulfilling lives.
There is an undeniable need to cultivate, support, and uplift women, especially Black and Brown girls, as they push back against limitations and boldly step into their most authentic, empowered selves.
My vision is to build an inclusive, wide-reaching community — a holistic ecosystem of care that nurtures every facet of a woman’s life. Through healing, personal growth, and joy-centered living, we are committed to helping women create the futures they desire and deserve.
I am here to walk alongside you as you reclaim your power — to support your journey toward self-renewal and help you make a lasting impact in your home, relationships, career and community. The road toward wholeness and well-being isn't an easy path. However, I implore you to stay encouraged, trust the process, stay the course and "keep the faith." We are beacons of love, light, hope and strength to the world. Don’t let the world dim it—let us help you shine even brighter.
Join me as we shift the trajectory of women’s wellness and empowerment — for ourselves, for the next generation, and for the women and girls who will come after us. The first step begins with you. And you don’t have to take it alone — because we’re in this together.
The future is female.

Why are donations to WELL Woman not tax deductible?
WELL Woman operates as a Low-Profit Limited Liability Company (L3C) because it allows us to pursue our social mission with a business structure that fits our needs. By blending an entrepreneurial spirit with our mission-driven goals, we can scale our programs faster, create sustainable streams of revenue, and respond more quickly to the evolving needs of our community.
Through an L3C, we can seek funding from foundations, impact investors, and private entities, rather than relying exclusively on grants and donations. That allows us to prioritize making the biggest social impact possible while giving ourselves the operational flexibility to grow our organization.
In short, being an L3C gives us the greatest flexibility to do what’s right for our community through a mix of charity, sponsorships, services, and more.
