How We Pursue Our Mission
We firmly believe in providing a higher level of holistic care for all women, especially women of color. We offer a comprehensive framework of support services that focus on the whole individual, ensuring BIPOC women receive equal and equitable access to standardized care that meets their distinctive needs. Although we use language that speaks to women specifically, we wholeheartedly embrace and support people of all races, ethnicities, faiths, ages, abilities, life stages and backgrounds.
Our programming supports the mind, body, spirit, and community of everyone in our network through services like coaching, counseling, consulting, workshops and training. We also give women the support and tools they need to create change that ripples into the future, positively affecting the well-being of generations to come.
At WELL Woman, we’re committed to building women-centric communities that give us permission to claim what we deserve, restore what we’ve lost, and create opportunities beyond our wildest dreams. Together, we are WELL Women.

While WELL Woman focuses on issues and challenges faced by women, we also recognize that identity and wellness are interconnected, and people rarely fit neatly into categories. We welcome anyone committed to pursuing holistic personal growth and building healthy communities, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ members and allies, those outside the gender binary, and people of all races, ethnicities, socioeconomic statuses, faiths, ages, abilities, life stages and backgrounds.

There is no cookie cutter approach to pursue wellness. Holistic growth and healing include addressing any area of our lives where we feel held back by others or ourselves. Our core values reflect our goal to support women in pursuing their wholeness through:
Empowering Women | We share tools and skills to equip women to grow to their fullest potential and make a bigger impact in the world.
Female Connectivity | We bring women together and make space for healthy relationships and connections to blossom across diverse groups of people.
Authentic, Safe Conversations | We create protective spaces where women can actively listen and share their stories in a restorative, reciprocal way. We show up for ourselves and others, engaging in conversations and creating environments where people feel accepted and valued, with a sense of belonging.
Women’s Wellness | We promote healing, well-being, and wholeness for all women across all areas of holistic health.
Personal Growth & Transformation | We give ourselves permission to freely emerge into our most divine, authentic selves, and we support one another to learn, grow, evolve and rise up to meet any challenge.
Community Reinvestment & Transformation | We support anyone who creates, restores, or uplifts women-focused communities, especially social impact leaders or fempreneurs. We pay it forward by helping and serving other women in our local communities and around the world.
We provide integrative, comprehensive approaches to address every individualized need or interest. In order to support our values, our programming and services bolster our eight pillars of wellness: physical well-being, environmental & community well-being, occupational well-being, emotional well-being, financial well-being, mental well-being, social well-being, and spiritual well-being. WELL WOMAN:
A woman who unapologetically prioritizes her self-care, examining her holistic growth to pursue her life goals and fulfill her fundamental needs. She is a fearless cycle breaker committed to uplifting and supporting intergenerational women in her home and community, and an advocate of women’s health, wealth and well-being.
OUR (HER)STORY
AND EVOLUTION
The concept of “Well Woman” is not new. In medicine, well-woman exams serve as essential preventative check-ups, focusing on everything from physical assessments to mental health checks to discussions of family and relationships dynamics.
While these visits accomplish a great deal, there are many other issues affecting well-being that need to be addressed in women’s lives. Research studies show that women suffer from trauma, depression, anxiety, negative body image, abuse, poverty, gender and racial/ethnic health inequities, wage disparities and other discriminatory issues at alarming rates, especially in BIPOC communities.
As a result, many report feeling overextended, overwhelmed, undervalued, unfulfilled, unsupported, unsatisfied, unaccepted or unloved. Women’s intersectional identities need to be addressed if we hope to meet their core needs in a society that doesn’t account for their full humanity. WELL Woman is a progressive, remedial solution to help women access services focusing on personal growth, wellness, and agency. We help guide and nurture women through their personal evolution and life transitions, and our services integrate our eight pillars of holistic wellness to address their fundamental needs.
Our ecosystem of professionals work diligently to offer preventative assistance, intervention and communal connections and resources to everyday women to help them reach their optimal potential. We are committed to creating inclusive spaces and opportunities that foster female agency, development, connections and giveback. Through our curation of holistic women’s networks and services, we are building sustainable, global ecosystems where women can thrive, be well and feel whole.
And we couldn’t be more proud to start this work and movement right here in the comeback city, Detroit.
